Mother's Day
Yesterday was my first Mother's Day. I was pregnant last year but this year I had a baby to hold and love on. Overall, the day really didn't feel as special as I would have hoped. I realize that my child is too small to understand or to do anything but it felt like just another day. I did have a few people wish me a Happy Mother's Day which was nice and I got a card in the mail from my mom which was super sweet. I'm not sure what I was expecting. Who knows, maybe I'm just being silly. Either way, I love being a mother. It's my dream job and while things aren't always great, it's always worth it.

It's a couple of days late, but: Happy Mother's Day!!! Sooner than you think, your sweet daughter will be making you breakfast in bed and the cutest little crafts and you'll treasure all of those little moments. It only gets better:)
