appointment number three:

my appointment was actually last monday, the 3rd, but with the blog carnival going on i forgot to post about how it went. we scheduled our anatomy scan for june 1st. i was hoping for sooner but oh well. we just hope little one will cooperate and we'll get to find out the sex. we got to hear the heartbeat again although it was a struggle. little one kept dodging the doppler and rolling away. i've started to feel little flutters here and there but no strong movement yet. for the most part, it feels like little bubbles but every once in awhile i feel a flip and it feels like my uterus is turning with little one. its wonderful to feel my little one move and am so impatient to feel the stronger kicks and jabs. our doctor has recommended we go for genetic counseling because of hubby's family history so we're hoping that goes well. we still have no intention or desire to terminate regardless of the results. God will make that decision and we will have to just trust him. but all in all, things are going well. i will be seventeen weeks tomorrow and i can't believe how surreal this whole experience is.
