the big announcement...

i am eight weeks pregnant today! the picture above is my sonogram at seven weeks and four days. this was indeed a surprise blessing from God. we are both excited and nervous about the road ahead of us. i am due on october 21st (the day before my hubby's birthday and nine days before our wedding anniversary). jesse wants a boy first and i want a girl first. however, since eventually i want both, i would be more than thrilled with either as long as it is healthy.
