WoF Christmas Carnival Day 5: You Might Be A Military Spouse At Christmas...

Well this is only my second Christmas as a military spouse. Last year was filled with focusing on the upcoming deployment and this year is filled with joy because the deployment is over. Thankfully, I haven't had to go through the holiday season without my husband, well not yet anyways. I am sure that sometime during my husband's military career, the Army will have my husband occupied during the holidays. So this post really doesn't apply to me. Since my husband is Reserves and not Active Duty, I am less likely to experience the full craziness the military can dish out. Despite the trials I may face as an army wife, during the holidays or any time of the year, I still feel blessed that God thinks I'm strong enough for this lifestyle. And I feel especially blessed to have my husband home.

p.s. click here for the Wives of Faith post for the day.
