hubby turned a bad day upside down...

so i told you guys about how busy of a day i was supposed to have today. well things didn't go quite as planned today. i went to the doctor. they took quite a bit of blood. seems all my labs came out normal but i have to go back in six weeks for a follow up in which case they want to retest my urine. sounds like a strange request to me but oh well. i'm just glad they don't plan to take more blood. after the doctor, i went and got my parking permit and sold back my old textbooks. then i came home for a lunch break and planned to go to lowes and the post office before heading to church. well upon arriving at home i started feeling pretty icky. my arm was sore and throbbing (which has barely gotten better). i got all emotional and frustrated over not feeling up to finishing my errands. i felt so bad that i almost didn't go to church tonight. well needless to say that my dear husband made it worth it, not that God isn't enough but it being a wednesday night live means its a social centered evening and not a normal service. he feels really bad about missing my birthday this year so he has planned some surprises for me. the only one i've been told about is an appointment he made for me saturday but i don't know what it is. anyways, as i pulled into the parking lot gus was heading towards the door. i yelled hello across the parking lot and started heading to the door myself. i thought it a little odd that gus didn't hold the door open for me but he looked busy so i used my key to get in. i walked through the door and gus was standing there holding a teddy bear in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. and sweet gus said "these are from your hubby for...uh...i...forgot what" all i could do was laugh and remind him that my birthday is monday. it was so cute to watch gus struggle to remember what the surprise was for. but of course i was all smiles for the evening. and then the best surprise of all...hubby called! it was so nice to hear his voice. i feel so blessed to be his wife. he definitely made what was looking to be a bad day much better! i can't wait to have him back in my arms...

Yep, that sounds just like my hubby! At least he remembered to give you the stuff without me having to remind him. I actually did not know anything about it!
